Welcome
to the virtual home of the Honda "Aero"
[NH80MD] Owners' Club. No rules, no meetings, no dues - we're
just hanging out here on the WWW hoping to help others who own one of
Honda's nicest - and least appreciated - scooters.
I'm Bill Laudeman; I bought this 1983 "Aero" scooter and quickly
found that, while these are no longer being built, there are many of
them still running around. Being a fussy owner, I like to have my toys
looking and working as close to "new" as possible -- even
if I'm not new myself [I'm 73.]
Then I discovered that Honda - while still providing some parts and
service for my NH80 - was less than helpful when asked about other parts
and repairs I wanted.
After setting up my own NH80 Webpages to show my family the new toy, I started to hear from other NH80 owners with similar concerns about upkeep and repairs.
Two of us exchanged e-mails and decided that if there was no "Club" for our scooter - well - we would start one, online to allow the widest participation. And there you are. Better yet -- HERE you are.
