Doing body work on the NH80

Have you noticed that there is a lot of plastic on your NH80 ??

Are you unhappy about that? Well, smile and be joyful because you can often fix plastic, where you would have a much more difficult job repairing the same kind of damage in sheet metal.
[Above] The broken internal support members of this headlight fairing are an example.

A couple of scraps of perforated strapping, and several small [stainless steel] screws, nuts, and washers allowed me to easily replace the broken structural members.
Making the fairing assembly not "new" but, for my purposes, entirely satisfactory. For pennies instead of many dollars.
